As well as mental health services, these trusts provide social care. They work closely with local council social services departments.
Social care services are targeted at various groups of people including the disabled, people with eating disorders and those with drug problems.
Local mental health services are provided by the Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust.
